As September begins and you begin to contemplate the return to school and the resumption of other non-summer activities, please take a moment to consider singing in one of our church choirs with me.

Rehearsals for the Grace Notes (children in grades K-2) take place on Tuesday afternoons from 4:15 to 5:00. The Leading Tones (for children in grades 3-6) also meet on Tuesdays, from 5:00 to 6:00. We are pleased to welcome back Michelle Davis as she will continue to volunteer her time and musical talents with our youth choirs.

For senior high students and adults interested in singing, the Sanctus Singers rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00. Perhaps you have never sung in a church choir, and are curious but unsure about joining, but would like to at least give it a try – well, please join us one evening. We would love to have you visit and see if it is for you.

Or, perhaps you would like to join, but are unable to commit to the entire choir season as a regular choir member. If that is the case, do not be deterred! I am more than willing to include singers whenever your schedule might permit; just come visit me after church or contact me and we can discuss your involvement.

Rehearsals for all choirs will begin the week of September 7. I look forward to seeing you then!
