Children & Youth
Sunday School typically meets throughout the school year from 9:40-10:40AM for pre-school through sixth grade students. Due to the pandemic, this fall Sunday School will be incorporated into a twice a month Family Worship Service, which will be held at 11am outside in the backyard beginning September 19. A Sunday school lesson for all ages will replace the sermon time during this child-centered worship experience.
In addition, we invite families to explore our new Atrium, the pre-K through Kindergarten classroom. This classroom is set up for a Montessori based curriculum called Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, which provides differentiated for Christian instruction for children between the ages of 3 and 12. We look forward to formally opening this classroom and our other classrooms when vaccination for children under 12 is available.
We also look forward this fall to our Sunday School children leading on Outdoor Family Worship Sundays and also participating in several inter-generational Mission Sundays where we engage in service-learning projects.

Children are a valued part of our worshiping community! Children’s sermons in weekly worship educate and engage people of all ages on the biblical text. Children are invited to participate at their level in worship, and may take a break in the nursery when needed.
