Pastors & Staff

Christmas Gift

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”  2 Corinthians 9:7

The season of Advent is here, and the lighting of the first candle reminds us of our faith in God and his constant love for us. Every year at this time, St. Matthew members have contributed generously toward financial gifts to our pastors and staff. This year, the staff would like to once again focus on our mission of Digging Deep, Reaching Out and Changing Lives while passing on these gifts from St. Matthew members to people in need. In this spirit, they are inviting us to make a charitable donation to two organizations they've selected: Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services (IRIS) and Gifts of Love's Operation Fuel.

Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services (IRIS) empowers refugees and immigrants to become self-sufficient and integrated into their new communities. At the same time, newcomers enrich our communities, making this a better place for all of us.

Gift of Love’s Operation Fuel ensures equitable access to energy for all by providing year-round energy assistance, promoting energy independence, and advocating for affordable energy.  Administered by volunteer fuel banks, their programs include “Year-Round Energy Assistance”, which includes grants up to $500 for heat or electricity, and  “Furnace and Water Heater Repair & Replacement”, which includes grants up to $5,000.
